Artists : Dubravka Kolanovic

I was born on the10th of September, 1973 in Zagreb ,Croatia .
I have studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, USA and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia where I got my degree as a painting major. Since then I have devoted myself to children's books illustration
I live and work in Zadar at the coast of Croatia with my husband , our little boy Marko and a dog. We love trips to nature and long walks by the see. Every year I devote some of my free time volunteering with the Earthwatch. Helping scientific researches in the Amazon rainforest, on the island of the Australian Great Barrier Reef, in the African Savannah or on the Galapagos islands is precious experience that teached me the importance of pretecting our environment for our future generations.
I am also an author of the UNICEF cards and posters and my bigest dream is a peacful and happy childhood for every child in the world.
