About this artist
I live in a quiet Cambridgeshire village with my long suffering children aka 'captive audience' where they tire of being asked " Do you like that?...what about now?... aaannnd now?"
Other inhabitants are my two silly dogs who I talk to way too much for a sane person and I can occasionally be found dipping their paws in paint (non-toxic) for the sake of my art.
I studied at Central St Martin's where I gained my degree and post graduate diploma in illustration. I started illustrating for clients whilst still at college and have been doing so now for nearly twenty years.
I have worked for many great clients including The BBC, Harper Collins, Faber & Faber, Orion, The Radio Times, Psychologies Magazine, Woman's own, Transworld Publishing, Heinemann Books, Longman Publishing, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Atelier-To-Go and many more.
I constantly strive to push my work to new levels and explore different media.
I use a combination of ink, paint, Photoshop and a lot of tea.
I am also currently studying for my MA in Children's Illustration which I am due to graduate in 2013.
