Artists : Louise Cunningham

Since completing an illustration honours degree and diploma from Edinburgh College of Art in 2005, Louise Cunningham has been working full-time as a freelance illustrator.

Louise describes her work as bright, bold and quirky. Her portfolio is suited to a wide range of projects - not only covers and jackets for book publishing but also, greetings cards and stationery. In addition, the decorative and whimsical feel of her portfolio is suited to areas of advertising and design such as product and packaging.

Using a combination of acrylic paint, paper collage and ink, her images are multi-layered and full of energy.
With over 300 images published to date, Louise is fast becoming a recognised voice in the illustration world.

She has also worked as the artist in residence at several primary schools around the UK.
