Artists : Karen Sapp

"Karen grew up in Crawley and moved to London to apply her talents to a competitive Illustration degree at Kingston University. After graduating in 2003 she has returned to her home town in West Sussex and now works as a freelance illustrator. Her artwork is created very traditionally through her love for painting. She has developed her unique style of rich colours and textures through her distinctive application of acrylics. Her illustrations are beautifully finished forming characters that capture the essence of 'fun' perfectly. Her work can be found in children's books, gift wrapping and greeting cards."
